Position Summary

Zappix is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team. As the Pre-Sales Engineer, you will support the sales team during sales processes, collaborate with various stakeholders (customers and internal) to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications and statements of work (SOW), and facilitate the successful demos of Zappix portfolio solutions.

We’re looking for someone who is technically savvy and commercially orientated, with good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the sales team during sales processes
    • Partner with sales and prospects’ teams to help elicit, analyze, and document
      business requirements and facilitate translation into technical requirements and
      statements of work.
    • Develop and deliver product demonstrations that present the key functional
      aspects of Zappix services, based on the potential needs of the prospects and
      their customers.
    • Create user stories, use cases, process flows, and other relevant documentation
      to articulate requirements and solution designs clearly.
    • Ensure that requirements are understood and approved by all stakeholders.
  • Work with the professional teams after a sale
    • Writing technical specifications based on the business agreement.
    • Manage requirement traceability and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide clear and accurate responses for RFPs and/or contribute technical solutions
    directly to proposals
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related
    to business analysis and software development

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer / Technical Business Analyst.
  • Proven track record supporting the sales of enterprise solutions.
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand
    manner.
  • Solid technical background with an understanding of software and web technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-
    functional teams and stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Excellent presentation and creativity skills
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive
    technical specifications and other relevant documentation.
  • Strong capability to work effectively both independently and as a team player in a fast-
    paced, cross-cultural start-up environment.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • The position is located in Burlington, MA.
